Help for the Vulnerable

Bearing in mind the heavy amount of snow that we had last year the Parish Council also want to ensure that we have a system in place where we can help those parishioners who are vulnerable during periods of heavy snowfall. People in this category would be our older and/or less mobile parishioners who live on their own and do not have any relatives living nearby. The idea would be for a volunteer or member of the Parish Council to call on them every day during periods of heavy snowfall to ensure that they have enough essential supplies to keep them going so that they do not have to venture out in dangerous conditions.
